In 1996 it was a great school
Maybe if they actually had teachers, instead of drones focused on test scores, the pregnancy rate would go down. The staff is a unprofessional bunch of white wanna-be bureaucrats that think they are running some government. "WHATEVER IT TAKES" is the motto to graduate, but they mostly push to help the kids they like or know their families. Any sign of independence or individuality automatically is looked down upon. Even with all their clubs and stuff to get into, they prefer the students they know the parents of. DONT MOVE HERE FROM OUT OF STATE, most of the people who do are "behind" and have to redo several years of curriculum in the short time before graduation. Oh, and its surrounded by a dump of a city which is mostly trashed families with children popping up pregnant. Also they teach abstinence, but teach nothing about protection. I am not exaggerating the pregnancy rate at all here. It is undoubtably the worst high school ever.
For clarification I am a student. The teachers do their job, and teach the students. But some of them do a terrible job keeping the more "wild" students under control. There are students that just out right don't do their work, and act like they control the classroom. The school does nothing with these students, but encourage them to do their work and graduate. There are some things that does redeem it a little. They are clearly more focused on athletics, so if you want your child/children to focus on academics I do not recommend this school. If your child/children have severe asthma do NOT go here. The gym teachers don't care, and try to RUN the asthma out of them. The intervention of a doctor will most likely not help either, and you end with 1 of 2 outcomes. 1. the teachers will not care and keep pushing them to the absolute limit, or 2. they are still pushed to the limits and get 100 no matter what they do.
Worst school I have ever been to. It's perfect for racist!!
I like this place, the teachers are nice, the people are amazing and there is no one the raiders won't want to compete against.
